Anyone here who is located near or know someone near Portland who can machine aluminum? I've got a small job and am willing to pay to have it done correctly.

Looking to do the accumulator delete mod "dremmel" method but wanted a nice, clean channel milled instead of my usual crackhead Dremmel work. The work is (unsurprisingly) apparently too simple/too few pieces for local machine shops to even bother responding to quote requests.

I've got a spare OEM accumulator ready to get hacked up.

If you were going to move to the Vancouver, WA area and wanted to be within an hour of PDX but be able to get a bit of land, where would you start looking in the area? Washougal?

 

I'll do it. I work in a machine shop. Been machining for over 15 years, but been management for the last 5.
I live in Milwaukie, but work in Hillsboro.

Yah. Like to get a couple acres, small-ish house and put up a nice workshop outbuilding for toys and hobbies.

Gotcha. I'm trying to talk my company into covering the moving expenses up there to re-locate. We're looking at moving probably Q2 of next year. I'll let you know when it gets closer.
