What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

One of the best mods I did to my truck. NOTHING moves back there..and now for the downside - NOTHING MOVES BACK THERE. Ever try sliding 2 cases of beer and 4 cases of soda (the big 35 can ones from Costco) across a soft and grippy rubber mat? Damned near impossible.

 

Installed these flood/spot combo ditch lights from Nilight. At 7200 lumens each and built pretty damn well, super happy with them.

 

Does anyone make blank center caps? I don’t want any logo on mine.

Yours do look nice.

 

Never thought about that. Hmmm, may have to think of ways to adjust to that. Especially since the camper should be here in about a month.

I’m planning on building something one day. I have CAD skills and wood working skills so I’m hoping that I can come up with something pretty slick. But I can’t start until I move cross country next year. I’ll make a thread (like everyone else has done) when I start.

 

Received the wiring harness and lighting stalk for my fog light install. Just waiting for the lights to get shipped. probably put everything else in this weekend

 

Mine is under a tonneau cover and between opening the tri-fold, trying to slide anything and basically ripping my shoulder out of the socket in the process has made me rethink my packing technique. Now I just hop in the bed and hand shit to my wife..lol

 

I like how your little covers are also approved for steamships.

 

Ya they still rub on metal under cab but idc it’s only at full lock but allot of plastic cutting to get it to even turn before it left the shop haha

I filled up my truck for $48.plus and my paper towels are tossed in the back seat.
So I guess I have a $41,000 towel holder.

 

It is a stick on but the quality is bad ass, big thanks to @WaitingOnMyR1T for showing his and bringing it to my attention of this product that I must have since I am a huge CF fanatic as my other car has plenty of CF functional pieces as well as the interior, but those were replacement pieces, no stick-ons there. Now if only I can get the rest of the mirror housing in CF.

 

2 of 3 mods done today. Tried to capture the sequentials with a gif, shows up on my phone perfectly but not here. Looks very cool! Thank you to @daveeasa for led harness to allow hi/low DRL function to work perfect with zero guess work and clean install.

 

Grabbers are awesome, nearly 80% as quiet as stock, plus the aggressive look, great off road handling. Downside, they are mudders so don’t expect great perf on wet pavement. Otherwise solid buy vs the legacy solutions.

Midland MXT275 MicroMobile GMRS 15W radio. I need to hard wire the radio so I don't have to look at the 12v plug, but I need to get either a wire slice or an add-a-fuse.

Tomorrow's project will be assembling and installing the UpTop Overland Truss bed rack.
