Same, the only thing I want from there is a MIG 140 so I can weld in my garage. My buddy has one and I've done my bumper, my 62 swap and my CMC with it flawlessly on a standard wall outlet.

 

There's a disclaimer in red on the linked page that says it's the 2020 flyer.

 

Yeah, the dates don't match up for this year. Hopefully the 2021 deals will be more exciting than the 2020 ones.

Well I learned my lesson on HF sanding discs. The belt worked great, but I bought some 5" 220 universal discs from them for my DeWalt orbital sander... The holes on the paper wouldn't line up to the holes on the sander. I tried using it anyway (stupid me). What happened is the holes in the paper that didn't line up with holes in the sander rose up, like little volcanoes, which left marks all over my walnut. Frack. Luckily they weren't deep and was able to get them out fairly easy. Into the circular file they go.

 

Picked up a chief needle scaler the other week with a 30% off coupon, anybody ever used one and have reviews? I didn’t need it for any specific job right now, but figured might not be a bad pneumatic tool to add to the collection with the discount.

 

Is that rack a HF special too?

Just used my Apex 12k for the first time. It did a great job.

 

Did you use your own fairlead or cut down the one that came with it. I think I'm gonna get a factor55 but they are expensive.

 

I’m using the one that came with it. I’m definitely going to get the Factor 55 one in the near future though.

 

Was hard to tell. Mine sticks up because the bend on my bumper is right there....

I have one of their Central needle scalers. Perfect for knocking welding slag off after flux core wire feed or stick welding. It'll knock flaky rust off quickly but paint removal is hit or miss depending on the consistency of the paint or powdercoat. "Chewy" powdercoat doesn't do anything. The needles just deform it. Hard paint breaks up like it's glass.

 

Picked this up today for 25% off. Never saw a discount on generator line before so had to strike while the iron was hot

 

Figure it's worth a shot asking in here, anybody have experience with this welder? I need a gas MIG setup to weld sheet metal/do bodywork. Looking at some videos online makes me think it'll be a good machine for that. The sub $500 MIG welder category is slim now-adays.
