What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

My alcan bushings were pretty chewed up when I swapped them with summer.

I think it happened to mine because I chose to ignore the torque spec and tightened till it didn’t tighten any more.

It could be worse though..

 

added reflectix all around, an inverter, rear facing dashcam and a front facing cam for offroading, finishing up some spotlights on my roof rack for the rear and sides

 

The 98 is now in storage and the 01 moved to its new unit… waiting on shelves so I can push the 01 further and get the 93 mr2 shoved in there… word on 01 is I should expect half the drivetrain end of December. 98 and the 02 frames are secured, but awaiting the kid to go get them.

 

And if anyone is in need of elocker cores without elocker actuators.. uh. I have some. I think 4 to be exact. All with issues.

 

Next time those will be touched is in 20 years as barn finds

Finally got new skins for those Y spokes I cleaned and had powder coated

 

Ubolts torqued to spec and rechecked?

 

Replaced one of my old taillights with another one on the way so they all match. Old owner had some aftermarket ones so I decided to switch to the original look.

 

Check them several times a year they have never been loose.

 

AllPro Baja front bumper went on today. Easier than I thought by myself. Now to fab some plates for the top and touch up the bed liner.

 

That bumper looks great with that grill.

Thank you I agree. The grill has to come off to install the winch so while it's off it's getting a brightening up and all new clips. Should make a huge difference.

 

I was on the fence for awhile but I know now this is the way. Nice and tidy
