    Reminds me of the day I walked into Walmart to buy a plastic bin for storage. They were sold out. Couple aisles worth of empty shelves. Why? The gas shortage after the pipeline ransom. People were filling up plastic bins. And plastic bags in some cases.

    I am kind of curious how "Full synthetic" is made from "Natural gas" :anonymous: that's an oxymoron.

    I chalked it up to people just sprucing things up for winter, combined with supply backlog, but… I never remember a time when I couldn’t just pick up a can of spray paint, somewhere, anywhere.

    Its harvest season. Many diesel powered farm equipment is busy with the harvest and going through maintenance. This is likely causing a seasonal spike in consumption.

    Supplies are spotty and when you find it, It’s at a higher price. In fact, its at a higher price everywhere now.

    There’s plenty of supply sitting around somewhere now, but the supply line is broken so supply might as well be low, same difference. Pretty soon if it’s not fixed, we’ll all be broken too.

    Really shouldn't be a big concern....unless you need engine oil formulated for a diesel.

    And, Yes, the supply chain is boogered up.

    I think its a bit ironic that the Media is just now harping about the supply chain. This has been on for nearly a year. As long as the Media harps and hawks about shortages.....people will panic buy, thereby creating an artificial shortage.

    The prices are rising and so is inflation. Roughly 5.5%.

    This isn't an epiphany.
