Rolled the truck out of the garage for the first time in 5 months and washed it. Over the last 5 months I did dual transfer cases, Chevy 63 swap and 3 link. It’s off to the shop next Tuesday for a custom bumper, setting up the hydro assist, new brake lines from the master cylinder, sliders, rear shock towers and crossmember mod to clear the front driveshaft. It’s going to be real nice to have someone else do some work on it. I’m ready for a break.

Those look like a winner, decently priced and look OEM. How well does the left side of the drive side seat hold up? Over the years I've found that to be the weakest point.

Dropped it off at the dealer for frame inspection and goop treatment and they gave me this to drive around for 3 days.

The black ones in my 2016 looked like new after 5+ years of use. There was no wear on the bolster where you slide in and out. The bolster area is pvc if you buy leather or pvc covers. Only the center perforated section is either leather or pvc. That is why I went with full pvc for the 2nd gens. Personally I use the nerfs getting and out of my trucks. I do think this helps prevent excessive wear on the bolster. The 2008 had excellent seats. The only wear was early stages of fraying material on the driver bolster. That is why I covered those. They come with a 1 year warranty. You can buy an extended warranty. One of the best selling features, to me, is that if a section gets damaged, or cut, you can actually buy a replacement section. No other cover company offers that. If you jump in and have a "oh shit" moment with a screwdriver in your pocket, you can buy the section you damage. The bonus is the quality factory look of the covers.

Meh. It's a nice vehicle for sure. Better road manners than my '14 perhaps, but it's brand new with 2000mi vs. 7 yrs old with ~90k on original suspension. Won't be taking it offroad, though. Thought about it, but don't have time befor I take it back on Friday. Reminds me of a cross between my truck and my wifes RAV4. I can see why some people don't like the transmission. It definitely seems as if it doesn't know what gear to be in and some of the shifts seemed unusually harsh to me. And the drivers seat is way too hard.

I noticed that also regarding the seats being like concrete!! Plus the dash to me looks like the inside of a Jeep with all the large round vents and just plastic overload.

I was admiring these the other day at the dealer. Not sure if you’ve seen em.
