Lol fuzzy. Not the whole it tastes like mold and makes everything it touches taste like mold because that's what ruins it for me.

That's good to hear about the job. You're only traveling locally for the time being, right?

Yeah I’m staying within an hours drive. Only has to be 50 miles from home.

Very cool. Is it just standard schedules you're used to or how are you managing your time off? Any Halloween plans? Maybe a costume selection?? :D

Schedule is pretty random. I think they make the regular employees out and then put me in where needed. It hasn’t been too bad so far.

No real plans for Halloween yet. My friends neighborhood is having a trick or trunk we may do that Saturday. Austin’s birthday is Monday. Thought about a day trip to the mountains Sunday.

    lock out tag out.
In my last job at the recycling plant I had to lock out at two master panels and the conveyor / confined space . Had to lock that motor as well

Use lock out tag out here occasionally but other disciplines like H&V guys use it much more. We have clearance order process E-soms that's used. Everyone required to have a face to face brief on the boundries and walk down the tags.

Does he like having his birthday around Halloween? I would have loved it when I was younger. My birthday always fell on the first week or so of school and I hated it with a passion.

A day trip up to the mountains sounds really nice. I just miss dressing up. We used to just do dinner and game night with some friends and all dress up. Good memories :)

I think he enjoyed it more when he was younger. We used to do something the whole week before Halloween. Now places here have stopped doing things.

I can’t wait until the 17th. I have an appointment with a rheumatologist. My hands are starting to hurt, so guess it’s time for a break/warm them up.

Oh God. LOTO! This was a religion when I worked at Intel in the fab for 20 years. Of course, we were working on 208V three-phase shit so it was a very good thing. We’d have 6 guys working on a tool thus six locks on the hasp. There was always that asshole from the previous shift that forgot to take his lock off. :annoyed:
They made him shag his ass back in there no matter what time it was. No pay of course!

Good luck with the appointment. You'll have to keep me updated on how it turns out and what's recommended. I should probably do the same at some point but I think I'll stubbornly hold off for a few more years. Those little rechargable hand warmers have certainly come in handy for me and it's time that I need to slap my steering wheel cover on for the season.

Well that's certainly a crappy way to find out about it. Hope your mom gets better :fingerscrossed:

Ours are almost identical. Just have a temp/battery read out on them. They're a seriously good purchase for anyone who gets chilly hands.
