It turned out to be Taco day. Cheap exhaust tip I ordered and the Chinese seat jackers also.

The seat jackers are not of the same quality as @DesertDoesIt. They are obviously used and the finish is just cheap paint, probably no primer so I'm sure it will come off. Already knew the bolts weren't up to par but I'm going to use them anyway, I think they'll do the job. @DesertDoesIt for the win.

I really like this, even though the cost is hard to swallow. Has anyone done this who has power seats? There isn't a ton of clearance in there and it would just be my luck to mount a flashlight and some tools there just to have them push on the seat controls when I close the door.

I have the Victor 4X4 version.

Had mine for almost 3 years. I have more stuff on the passenger side though, just keep some small stuff on the driver side because too much stuff will rub my leg and bugs me.

I tent camped up there a ton when I was in high school. I owned a couple of campers years ago and used to camp quite a bit back than. At one point we used to haul the camper up there every other weekend. Lots of good times up there.

I installed the UpTop Overland Truss bed rack today.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the build quality, packaging, and instructions (there's a QR code on the box that links to the online instructions). Installation was pretty straight forward once you determine that the bed rack instructions are for all versions of their system including affixing it to a Diamondback bed cover or drilling into your bed if you're not lucky enough to have bed rails that accept the sliders. The Tacoma was very easy, and it was 100% bolt on.

    My only gripes are these:
The hardware bags are labeled very well and there's a code printed on them ex: 9000.4, but the instructions don't reference them. Instead, the instructions just state use M8 x 1" bolt with fender washer and lock washer.
The Tacoma requires the use of three different bolt/washers for the end caps, side armor, and bed rail legs. They're all allen bolts. My gripe is that some are 5/32 and the others are 5mm. Why not just use all SAE or all metric?
My final gripe is that there are torque specifications for all the bolts. That's not a big deal. My issue was that it was in inch pounds not foot pounds. I had to break out the ole calculator to convert the specifications. In case anyone is wondering 115 in-lb is 9.6 ft-lb. Also, I don't have one of those fancy digital torque wrenches, so I got as close as I could.

I went with the mid level Truss height so that I'm not creating a huge air damn above the roofline when I mount my future rooftop tent.

FYI, if it bugs you that the driver side lower MOLLE panel mounts have no attach points, you can order two matching black M6 torx bolts that are used on the passenger side, then drill two 5/16 holes and install two M6 rivnuts, securing the tabs with the black M6 torx bolts. Unused mounting tabs bothered the sh1t out of me.

First thing will be a rooftop tent. I'm leaning towards the Smittybilt tent. They've had good reviews on YouTube and the price is pretty good compared to many of the others.

Finally got around to sanding down and repainting a new set of center caps for the powder coated wheels.

Unfortunately the color still isn't a great match between the wheel and caps, but whatever, I give up. The final step is to get the vinyl "TRD" cutouts cut and applied and these wheels will be ready for show time.

Lift goes on in just over a week, then I can finally get these bad boys wrapped and mounted :taco:

Thanks for watching bud! Next week, after putting in some more miles, I'll retighten all the bolts and mark them with a pen.
