I have searched, and posted in some old threads, but they are old threads, so there has not been any responses.

    A couple general backspacing questions:

My understanding is that a minimum 4.5 backspacing is required for a wheel to fit on a Gen 3 Tacoma - Is this true?

Does this mean that a lower backspacing or higher backspacing will work?

(for reference - I am looking at wheels that have a 4.26 backspacing with -57 offset)

    Lift? Wheel size? Tire size?

They’ll fit. Now that offset and tire will cause an issue. Be prepared to trim some stuff, cmc.

    thank you

I have 22x12 with an offset of -44 and 4.5 backspacing now.
    No rubbing, no trimming.
