They were the best snow tire I’ve ever had, but I’ve never had an a/t or a dedicated snow tire prior to that. I’ve lived in Minnesota most of my life driving on all season tires. :)

How do they look and preform I haven’t seen that size in pictures on the 3rd gen yet? I did notice a lot more options in that size.

I pulled these off my 2nd gen and had the dealer install them before I picked up the truck. This was a couple of ours later out on a job site. OME/Dakars go on in 10 days.

I ran them on my 2nd gen for over 10 years. It was long the standard size for 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickups. Still used on many duellies. Comes out to be about a 32" tire.

Also have them on my Hilux in Central America

Wildpeaks come in this size and have the 3 peak snow designation. Unfortunately it also means you have to spring for some 17" rims if you own an Off Road Taco.

Let me comment more after I turn it into a work truck.

Like my old 2nd gen, suspension sucks
First time I've bought an automatic since the early '80's and it needs more engine braking downhill (needed a truck ASAP and didn't have much choice in the matter)
The Nanny State gizmos are a PIA

I do like that it is an easy reving engine especially that is where any power is.
