    went into town after work to run a couple errands

    reason #237 why not to tailgate:
    car pulled out of a subdivision and into 55mph traffic about 100 yards ahead of me
    thule/yakima bars/ski rack on the roof go flying. Can't swerve into the other lane so I go for the shoulder to avoid the debris field.
    Dark now but I'll check my tires in the am to make sure I didnt pick anything up

    guessing they are a little eager to get out skiing this weekend and threw them on the car in a hurry. obviously did it wrong :facepalm:

    i can live with a flat tire but i'm just glad i wasn't any closer to them when it came off - could have gone right through my windshield!
