What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Finally got around to sanding down and repainting a new set of center caps for the powder coated wheels.

Unfortunately the color still isn't a great match between the wheel and caps, but whatever, I give up. The final step is to get the vinyl "TRD" cutouts cut and applied and these wheels will be ready for show time.

Lift goes on in just over a week, then I can finally get these bad boys wrapped and mounted

Don't know if that vinyl will last long on the painted plastic with your weather. Might be a good idea to get a little brush and paint it in. You'll definitely have a one of a kind set. What color you going with for the TRD?

suppose the voodoo hi rise bars are new (and need to be repositioned), and added the license light covers that someone posted the other day.

 

Not sure yet.

Either: pure magenta, orange chrome, or purple chrome.

Lower part I’m planning to mount heavier things. The molle on the cap are flimsy so most likely small bags etc. I just like having the ability to mount everywhere I want haha

Got some closet light on Amazon, since the cap is steel, the magnetic light works great.

 

Installed some bed lights, a TRD skid and a power tailgate lock.

I added two amber Baja Designs rock lights as chase lights to the back of my newly added @upTOPoverland Alpha cab rack. I used Rago Fabrication BD rock light mounts painted black. I also just added a SwitchPro at the same time. I’ve been hoarding parts for several months and finally getting everything on the truck where’s it (more) useful.

I’m digging the Trd skid! I scored one from a local dealer military discount for $350 and i was pleasantly surprised how much coverage you get underneath. It also integrates with RCI skids as well if you want full coverage.
