20% tints on the fronts and 5% windshield strip. Also gave it a good wash. Now it’s just the ugly matte fenders and paint matched bumper side pieces not matching thats bugging me. Should’ve took them off before I sold my old matte bumper. Wonder how much it would be to get them paint matched or just do them all with a trim paint myself

Replaced rusted out power steering lines…thankfully they didn’t blow out when I was moving from NH to MO two weeks ago. That would’ve really sucked. Hopefully I’ll be dealing with less rust in south central Missouri.

Transmission jack attachment. Figured the wider base would help keep it level when welding it up.

Dude AugustaTaco is right. I'm sure people have experienced having some bad installs. But out of like 14 glass replacements, I have only had one (1) leak. And it was an aftermarket windshield in my Deco lll Rover. I took it back and they took care of it and ALL WAS WELL!

I wouldn't give it a single thought, especially if you use a shop that does some volume. That's the only thing I really consider. As much as I like and try to support local small BIZ, I would much rather have someone who does 8 to 10 a day do mine over someone who does 8 to 10 a year. I agree with the OEM glass request, but it often adds up to extra out of pocket $$$.

Again I'm with AugustaTaco, It's not the end of the world if you have to go AM. I would guess 90% of people don't even know or consider the difference and leave with aftermarket installed. And you can bet the shops that install want nothing to do with a replacement that will give them warranty issues.

I spent a good bit of time with one of Safelite's people today while he did my install. He was telling me that many aftermarket glass offerings are every bit the glass OEM is and even often come right off the same manufacturing line. Problem is, there's no way to see ahead for a particular application.

IT IS AGGRAVATING TO GO THROUGH, BUT WORRY?, NO NEED AT ALL. I'll even bet you will have forgotten how clear a new windshield can be until you sit down in your truck after the install.

This is a good point, but why take a chance when higher volume shops most likely will have it all, price, facilities, warranty, and know-how. Again we are talking windshield installs and assuming you don't know the tech or shop doing the install. JUST SAYING.

NICE! It looks like the radio really fits well. I have been looking into a CB. Is the MAXON Moddable where power etc is concerned? I don't know much about brands.

This radio isn't a cb. It's a 2way vhf, where I live I have to use vhf on the forest roads. And for modding I have no idea it's my first radio. I had to get one in my truck for my change of career I am doing now.

So it’s basically a walkie talkie,? Sorta? I dint think I’ve ever heard of one of those VHF things? Guess I’m getting old since it takes me 1/2 the weekend to figure out my new TV. LOL. LOL
