Anyone know if the Tundra horn is louder than the Tacoma horn?

Best thing to do, is to go to the dealership, ask them to pull a Tundra up to a Tacoma, so they are facing each other, but about 3 feet away. Then, Stand in between the 2, and have someone honk the horns at the same time.

    I care for 2 reasons

    1) I suck at anything electrical and the Tundra horn is most likely plug and play with my factory harness.

    2) Tundra horns can be had cheap at the local junkyards.

2nd same horn .. there's standards for these things.. if not legal set volumes.. than just statistics on what people want.

It just has a single tone horn right? FInd the tone and add a major third or fifth. Or a minor fourth for ambiance.

I went to a JY and grabbed a set of horns out of a Caddy abd added them to the stock horns. Now when I blow the horn it is louder with a lot more low end. Gets noticed pretty well.

    Total cost was $5.
