I'm at 18 days of vacation per year until I hit 12 years then it bumps up to 21 days. Maximum accrual is 240 hour that can be carried over on January 1st. I have about 18 hours I need to use or lose. And I'm not gonna lose. :D

Sick leave is a separate pot that is always 12 days per year but there's no maximum. Guys have retired with thousands of hours.

That's a pretty generous deal I think. We only get 3 sick days but as you said there are no real limits and people have always been given additional time as needed. I was lucky to be given 2 additional weeks off when each of my kids were born which was awesome. It's a small company which has its perks and downfalls of course.

We have liquid nitrogen on site here but getting anyone with enough nards to dispense it for us is next to impossible.
Dry ice works wonders too for those fits.
A few outages back....very long story but in the end it was just like I told them. I said you put that bushing in the nitrogen for a couple of minutes and drop it in the hole, and it's going to literally drop in there and land with a tink...
One of my regular supplemental helpers was excited to tell me it dropped in there and landed with a tink, just like you said.

Halloween people keep telling me to take my Costume off all year .

Maybe that is why Mom said only your Mom could love that face then said I really question that.

Yes, fixed! It was just that bulb not being illuminated and that was throwing me for a loop. The bulb wasn't even bad, just wasn't making good contact. So bulb lights up now and I was just used to the chuck ever so slightly freewheeling when I started it up. So I got to looking and it was in a much lower gear and I think that's why it wasn't turning at all. In the end I'm thankful it wasn't anything serious.

It can definitely go either way lol. Luckily my boss started the company with a goal being the fair treatment of employees, he left a glass working job before that because of the rough conditions and poor treatment.

    Good luck to your son!

Our muzzle loader season opens Saturday for 2 weeks, hopefully we can go that morning and maybe Cole can get a chance at one.

Time to make that front receiver idea a reality :D

These 2 keeper clips were a bear to remove with the grill in.

    IMG_3565.jpg

Popped the center part out after removing the clips.

    IMG_3558.jpg

    Then got some help :D

    IMG_3561.jpg

Now to get these plates in the milling machine and fire up the welder.
