New SCS Inventory subscription thread

What can i expect from running the -38mm offset? Slight poke? Any extra fitment issues vs my OEM TRD wheels? Already have 2” lift with CMC. Could go 2.5” if needed.

 

Lots of poke. Many pics on the forum here if you search it and on Instagram. More than likely additional trimming, especially if your off-roading. Heading in the right direction since you already have a CMC though.

 

Should I just get stealth 6’s?

F5 or stealth 6 for first gen which one?

any idea when the Stealth 6 17x8.5 in matte bronze will drop? should i pull trig on black or wait a bit if they will drop soon?

like how 17's look, planning on wrapping them in a 295/70x17. i dont want to do tons of chopping, and i like how the 4.3" BS looks. also more tire options in the 295/70x17 size.

 

LOL i knew this would eventually come into light. so you wanna run -38s eh, make sure you have good UCAs, like the high caster JBAs, max caster each side at least over 3.5 degrees each side. CMC, pinch weld gone, and plastic cutting, molding and trimming, its a real thing. some guys can get away on the road no rub, but any bump, rock, rut, will rub like fucking CRAZY! especially with anything over 275s. the -38s are nice, the offset is very poky and agressive. but you will most likely gonna have to modify to get them dialed in. I chased vibrations, rubbing for less than a year, pulled them off and sold them. They were great but I am much happier with Volks -10. If I were to do it all over again, I would just stick with -10 unless you want chucks of tire missing, constant rubbing on left, right, reverse and full lock.

 

No Stealth Indigo Purple in 16" or 17" with -10 offset????

 

Maybe in a few weeks because they said those were going to release in the fall.

 

I love the poke from the -38 on pictures, but again all I’ve done is some minor plastics and cmc. Haven’t touch pinch welled yet. Only have the truck on my middle setting for front lift as I don’t have front bumper or anything. It clears my 285s with -4 offset wheels fine. Also have JBA UCAs but get my alignments done at Firestone so casters like at .4. Planned to just run NITTO ridge grapplers.
