While I'm in there Its time for a proper front coil over set up.
Suggestions for decent off/on road set up that gives me 3 inches of lift?

Is that boomer slang for sex?

Jokes aside, verify the fault is indeed coming from the front diff bearing first. If the noise/vibration persists in 4WD, it's coming from elsewhere.

Well you can read about my Elka experience here, not the greatest.

If I had to chose today I would pick KINGs with resi, but I dont' DD truck so it'll only see warm weather and rust isn't my concern, truck will be dust before it starts rotting anyways.
If you are looking for something durable and reliable to withstand our winters (and not to deal with unibearings) I would take a look at Dobinson's or OME or Bilsteins.

I did it in the truck last year with @Shveet and a Jeep friend. We took 4 days but really could have used 6. And I've done it on the dirt bike multiple times as well. It's a great trip and I'd have no problem doing it again next year.

What do you's recommend for light recovery gear? Shackles, straps, additional tow hooks? I've been thinking about getting some soft shackles and them demon bracket mounts. Amazon has lots but trying to find a legit Canadian brand for this kind of stuff

Anyone have opinions on these ?

Shackles I would go with soft, bow rings are heavy.
Bubba Rope Gator-Jaw Pro Synthetic Soft Shackle - Made in The USA (11,000LB Breaking Strength 1/4" Green & Black (2)), Shackles - Amazon Canada

    Recovery rope
    7/8 in. x 20 ft Kinetic Recovery Rope (princessauto.com)

    Hitch receiver for shackles
Ranger 2" Aluminum Hitch Receiver 3/4" Shackle Adapter 20,000 LBs by Ultranger Glossy (Red), Receivers - Amazon Canada

    Front
Factory Recovery Mount Replacement "IN STOCK" - SOS Off-road Concepts (sosoffroadconcepts.com)

That's your basic gear, can be substituted with other brands etc...

Might be ok for straight behind pulls.

You put that off to an angle, and it will cut that soft shackle in 1 motion on the 2inch receiver side.

The shackle is a continuous loop? It would be unusable when you're being pulled out by a kinetic rope or strap.
