Its funny, El Darado county in CA you only have to smog the vehicle when it changes owners. Nevada you dont have to do it at all unless you are in Reno or Vegas.

I spent 8 months trying to register a vehicle by email (Missoula county offers this) under a Montana LLC to get permanent registration and no emissions on it. Finally gave up due to their incompetence.
$120 experiment, inexpensive endeavor.

 

CA wants to get rid of our gas powered shit like edge trimmers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers and so forth.
