    good point, other than the red protection sleeve, it's toast to the sharp edges of the hitch receiver unless you file it down, but even then it's a "hope for the best" scenario.

    one of my Montreal Jeep friends runs one all of the time (it's a jeep thing i wont understand) so figured to ask if anyone has an opinion of these types of recovery points.
    i see it as pretty great since it's incredibly light weight.

    Jeeps have much higher departure angles, so the hitch drags far less often.

    but yeah, like @Norilsk had mentioned. Gone are the days of full steel and super heavy recovery equipment.
    don't get me wrong, i'll use a bow shackle any day on the week on the bumper and hitch - but for 90% cases having a soft shackle connection between the truck and the recovery equipment is really nice for many reasons that you can see here and here;

    for straps; depends what you need - tow straps are tow straps but get something well above what your truck is weighted for (dont cheap out for a 5,000lbs one when your truck weights about the same). kinetic rope is your friend, a lot of us use the one he linked and it works well.

    Demon brackets look sketchy from closer inspection but i believe one or two people here have it and has not showed any issues and works just fine. @LandoFernano and i think @19Canuck found a video of it

    Either USA, Aussie, or Canadian made - i dont entirely trust Amazoom for recovery. I mean i trust Princess Auto before i trust Amazoom

    Happy to see them again, I would say Ryan and the team at Krave are very professional! 100% I am going to recommend them in the future. They took care of shipping, kept in touch at all points with me and did great. Shipped them from Toronto on the 15th, received them back on the 28th. :dancingbacon::bananadance:

    Hmmmm... if memory serves..... you were mentioning a trip to Alberta a few months ago..... coincidence maybe.... hmmmm

    The fact that you are already on a first name basis with them.... coincidence maybe....

    I bet you had your phone in one ear and you were holding onto your nipple when you were talking to them. Not a coincidence maybe?

    Bet you were shaking your mattress to see how many Rubles you got socked away....

    I'm in as well.
    One week would be perfect.

    Krave is awesome. I have dealt with them in the past and customer service is the best. There's always someone there to answer your call and help you out. Highly recommend. They have earned a place on the rear window:thumbsup:
