there's a surprising number of people that do use the washable ones. I suppose if you were rich and could afford the service that picks them up and trades them out for new ones, then it would be alright. But I'm not washing those things lol. Some people don't mind I guess...blech

I hope the turbo version is better. Ours had 98hp and 300,000 miles

 

My brother had a 240d non turbo. So slow but was reliable.

 

Yeah you can put them into the stock bumper with some finesse. I didn't wanna cut through my bumper corner horns. On an 80 series the horns are just plastic cap things and the center section of the rear bumper is actually a frame crossmember.

 

Probably a ~20hp increase like the turbo 22re on 1st gen 4runners

 

I buy the large ones in 4 packs and a jar of chicken gravy to smother them in after topping with crispy BACON.
