Tacoma World! Great to be on the forum and now to be a vendor.

Metal-tech 4x4 specializes in only Toyota's and has been in business for the past 11 years. Suspension and metal fabrication are the two areas of focus primarily. As a real brick and mortar company complete with staff most of what is offered is also stocked.

    Suspension:

    ICON Vehicle Dynamics

    Old Man Emu

    Total Chaos

    Light Racing

    Sway-a-way

We sponsor quite a few events across the US so keep an eye out for us at the events.

We do quite a bit of custom fabrication in house and have a full steel product line we build. We have done a few one off custom front and rear bumpers for 05+ Tacoma's and in the next year will be putting them into production. We are located in the Pacific North West, however ship all over the US and outside the US. (Canada, South America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Asia)

    Metal-tech 4x4
Newberg, Oregon (just outside of Portland)
    800-839-0684
    www.metaltech4x4.com

New products are always shown and announced on our Face Book page:

We also wheel what we build and sell. Here is our FJC in the curent Total Chaos ad:

We ship all over the world. At the end of 2009 we were hired by the BBC and went to South America providing off road tech and our products for the TV Show Top Gear for their Bolivia special. We supported the show from pre-production to the end. That is our roll cage, nose guard and stinger on the FJ40 when it rolled. The show was bummed all our safety gear worked so well and the truck still looked fine. We built props, helped with special effects and worked with two outstanding ex camel trophy Brits to do all the technical off road work for the show.

Click on the image to watch the show.

Japan Land Cruiser Magazine seams to like us they have ran a number of articles on us, our products and joined us on the Rubicon:

Yes 2nd Gen is what we have done in the last few years.

Thank you! Ya we ship North quite a bit. We know the ins and outs of the whole UPS, brokerage+GST+door bell ringing+Delivery truck is Brown etc. extra fees. USPS as much as we can, and send a bit of truck freight up as well. Also a good number of Canadian Customers visit our shop for installs. (Vancouver) This way the drive home is with their "used parts" as they cross the border. No sales tax in Oregon so kind of nice for big ticket items like tires, good suspension, winches etc.

We are interested however with 2nd gen will be rolling out first. There are allot of companies right now supporting the 1st gen trucks. We are a Marlin Dealer but send most trucks direct to them for their bumpers etc.

Yes we have the Total Chaos FK 1" and QA1 products. Shoot us an e-mail for the size you are looking for and we can quote them. info@metaltech4x4.com

We do for the 2nd gen as we maintain a stock pile of core OEM top cap and strut bearings for this. For 1st gen we would need to pick up cores as we are not installing coil overs on these trucks on a regular basis. (When we install ICON or Sway-a-way coil overs we will buy the core top caps from customers)

You may be looking at our old web site, here is the link to the Tacoma section, that will also be growing.

    https://www.metaltech4x4.com/c-54-tacoma.aspx

We are also a stocking Bud Built dealer on the West Coast. What we stock is determined by demand so once we have requests for 1st Gen Bud products regular basis we will put them on the shelf. (we bring them in raw and use our powder coater so they don't travel from the East coast stacked up on a pallet.) Our prices for Bud's products are the same price that he sells them for. We don't bill for them to ship out to us, unless its an odd special order. I just noticed the Bud products are not on the Tacoma section, we will get them up.
