Cilantro or CilantNO

One place here that has legit street tacos just raised their prices to $3.

 

Actually they do.

 

Apparently the soap gene is a real thing.. but it's more fun to just call them wussies

 

Sometimes I really hate working on a base (ok, almost all the fucking time) where the nearest taco truck is 15 minutes away. If I wanted to drive that far, I would go to chipotle for their guac.

 

I like cilantro

 

Yep, ~1/8 of Europeans have it. I count myself lucky! But those folks are more sensitive to things like cheese and body odor, so, you know, it evens out I guess...

I'm half-asian and grew up in Singapore and am not a skinny dude. That being said I'll eat anything. Sea cucumber, check, uni, check, tripe, check, chickens feet, check.

What I won't eat is cilantro as it tastes horrible. The gene is real and based on how cilantro tastes to me I wouldn't wish the hideousness of it's flavor on my worst enemy.

That enough hyperbole to get across how bad it tastes to those of us with the gene?

Honestly, having lived in rural areas my whole life, I've seen a thing or 2. Cow diarrhea looks more appetizing that that "pho".
