I need a little help identifying an unused connector on my automatic V6 DCSB 2014 TRD Sport. This is located on the left kick panel, just above the e-brake (seen at the bottom of the pic for reference). I presume it goes to some accessory that a higher trim level came with but isn't present on my truck.

I was using this switched 12VDC to power the illumination (and voltmeter) on my light switch panel, but it suddenly stopped working and I suspect I blew a fuse. I've tested all the fuses I can find but they all check good and since I don't know what this is used for and there's no connector identification on it, I can't tell what system it is to trace the wire and check its fused link.

That's the connector for the brake controller, which color wire did you tap for power?

Thank you very much for that. I used the green which I knew was tied somewhere to the lighting circuits. Ultimately I re-pinned that wire and just used the 12VDC sockets below the radio. I still need to track down the fuse for the brake controller though, or to see what is unhappy there. Your help is very much appreciated!

Green wire is powered by 10 amp tail fuse, if that's blown you also won't have any rear tail lights or license plate lamp power

Blue wire is 10 amp stop fuse

Black wire is fed by the 30A towing break fuse

I guess I need to check that. No one has said anything but I've noticed people don't seem to do that anymore.

    Thanks again man!

My tail lights and running lights are all fine. My guess is that may be the wire to the towing pigtail (which I'll need to check).
