well, went to downtown this weekend, parked along the street...came back and i had a parking ticket..from what it looked like to me, i believe i was parked legally...basically, i want to know what yall's opinion is, so i can see if its worth it for to be try to fight it...its a 42$ ticket!

hopefully these 2 pictures will give yall a good idea...

a break down of the pictures:
just ahead of my truck was 2 loading area signs, and clearly the car infront of me is there illegally, and from what it looked like to me, the loading zone was considered between these 2 signs

notice in the 2nd picture that the curb is NOT painted as if to mark the area as a designated zone.

I dont think you parked illegally but it will be alot easier to just pay the $42.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I couldn't tell you if your parked illegally but I will tell you this it's going to cost more then 42 bucks to fight it. Unless your trying to prove a point and you are the kinda guy that always has to be right i say just pay it.

Aren't the curbs of the loading zones painted? If it was and you were not parked on the painted part of the curb then I would say you should of been fine. But I would just pay it, because it is only $42.

    crap bolted and welded together....
well if you want to put forth the effort then i vote go fight that, to me it looks like the loading zone is between the signs or just behind them. No markings besides the sign cant justify you parked illegally for just being close to them. So i vote it looks legal, i would have parked their lol

I would be in court the next morning. Yup. Even for so called speeding tickets and running red lights. They know it would be easier for you just to pay the ticket and very few would contest it. And for those very few they get away. Hahahaha.....Good luck!

Did the signs both say No Parking Loading Zone or Did they say No parking between signs, loading zone. Between the signs your Dead. Maybe behind Both signs your Dead. It's all in how they read.

I don't know if the pictures would make a difference by email. For all they know, you could have drove down there the next evening and took a picture of you parked legally.

I would assume the loading zone is after the sign as well. If you've got more time than money, I'd say fight it.

#EDIT# Since you have the plate of the other car that was ticketed in your picture, the pictures might stand up.

Looks like a bad parking job. Loading Zone means Loading Zone. It's different than the green and yellow painted curbs that have specific hours. Passanger loading zones never close. Sorry.
