NC State law is 32% and I am at 30% and the tint shops want $400 to remove and re-tint....

It's really for the dogs, but I supposed it would catch an unrestrained rugrat just as well.

NC tint law is 35% - 3% grace hence 32% being the absolute lowest limit.

The place I go to forgets to check every year

State website says 32% so I was hoping 30% would be good with a + or - 3% but looks like a trip to the Dr for a medical exemption

May have changed it to just 32 then. If you go the Dr route you'll have to do that every year

Nice that's changed. Just keep it as you may have to show it every time so they can enter the waiver #. When I use to be an inspector it popped up to enter a waiver # for the person.

Yeah they give you a little sticker to put on the lower back left corner of the rear window so it can be seen by LEO when approaching and they allow 20% on the windows....
