Ah, that's wild, do you ever go for fun, or just to visit family?

The only thing I liked seeing was the WW2 museum when i went another time.

I've been wanting to go again as an adult to check it out during Mardi Gras but at the same time it sounds kind of gross. Like I know being there won't make me feel good about myself and I will get way too drunk trying to make it better lol

My only interest in NO is the food.

Damn that's just messed up. I've been there once when I was 18 or so, but didn't really appreciate it for what it was. Need to go again someday

I had a family that lived there for 12 years. NOLA is different for sure. If you stay away from Mardi Gras and Bourbon street, there's a ton of gems. The food is incredible, and it probably has the best music scene in the US. WWII Museum is worth a visit all by itself.

I take it you've been to the WWI museum in KC? I've been there a few times, it's pretty powerful

Yep, it really is. WWI was absolutely horrible, and the museum does an excellent job communicating that.

Is there an Egyptian museum out in your area?

The other day I was looking online but couldn't tell for sure.

We've been wanting to go to another one.

Not that I've heard of...we have some art museums in the area but nothing too crazy. The Huntingon Gardens in Pasadena is a really cool place to visit though, we have memberships there. It's an enormous property with different kinds of gardens from different areas of the world, and a few old mansions converted into art/statue museums

I stopped going with my parents in high school. They’re just stressful people to travel with. Now I visit alone to see family, eat cheap seafood, and chill. WWII museum is great like everyone else said.

I've been to one of your guys big art museums, just forget what one.

We want to hit up a few more places we haven't been to before time becomes more limited.

You guys really like the Gardens? I'll look it up
