I actually put on the lift about a month ago. Anyway my tires seem to be almost completely skinned of all tread so i figured should get some new ones. Here's where im stuck...i like an aggressive looking tire but i dont want to get a m/t because i barely go off road and i want my tires to last. And my budget is tight also due to me being in high school and all. So any one know of any good cheap a/t's (preferably)?

3" OME lift with 885 coils on nitrocharger 90000 shocks with 5mm trim packer on driver's side, TC UCAs, Rear OME Dakar leafs with nitrocharger shocks, All-pro U-bolt flip kit and 3* Toytec shims, extended rear brakelines, 16" Raceline Rockcrusher 887 wheels with 3.6" backspacking, BFG KM2 305/70/16 tires, Doug Thorley header, Doug Thorley catback exhaust, Volant CAI with ram air, Weathertech floor mats, Kicker 12" sub, Kenwood 500W RMS amp, Relentless Fab front and rear bumpers, 4.88 gears, custom flatbed with swing out tire carrier
bfg all-terrains are good. they last a long time. not the cheapest though. but you will really like them. i'd go 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 if you have 17s.

Duratracs are pretty expensive.... Go with Nitto Terra Grapplers, best bang for your buck IMO....

Sigh... I must be getting old in my late twenties...

Tires are, IMO, one of the most important and integral parts on your/ any vehicle. Ever heard of "The chain is only as strong as the weakest link" or "The racer is only as fast as his pit crew"? If you are budget conscious, which is my understanding, at least give us a price range that fits your needs... rather than describing you need "good cheap a/ts". Anywho... I would go with the Duratracs or the BFG ATs.

Sorry, this talk of cheap tires just irks me. Not so much here, but more frequently on other forums. Eg. the porsche/bmw/audi/ferrari/aston owners who spend plenty of cash on their vehicles but then buy the cheapest freakin tires and lose a good junk of the capability of their sports cars. Ugh... what. the. fugg. Trucks may be different, but still.

Anywho. Checkout Tirerack.com for pricing on tires you are interested in.

I like the bfgs a whole lot, but theres just to many people around here with them, it's too typical. I really like the nittos and the toyos, those are def. an option.
My friend told me about some tires called sport kings...i've heard of them before, i like the look of them, and they are REALLY cheap. He said they were pretty damn good for the price.

I really like my Hankook Dyna Pro A/Ts. They have a nice tread design with a 50k tread mileage warranty...I paid 580 for mine about a year ago from DT with road hazard warranties and everything. I'm running 265/75/16s with a 3" Lift.

lots of good tires to choose from: Toyo Open Country A/T, BFG A/T, Hankook Dynapro A/T and General Grabber AT2 all get my vote

Toytec ULK, Light Racing UCA's, OME Dakar rear leaves, ARB Bumper with XRC8 winch, Good Year Duratracs 285/70/17's on 17x9" Level 8 Strike 6's. Leer cap in the winter. Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...
I'm loving my Duratracs in the snow! You probably don't see too much of that down there!

Anyhow, mine are 285/70/17s on stock rims with 1/25" spacers with the Toytec 3" ULK. There is the slightest bit of rubbing on the inside rear of the front wheelwells.

They are kinda in between an AT and a MT. $238 each at Tirerack.
