FINALLY!!!! Brushed Copper achieved! Man I cannot wait. Now to figure out if I can run the -10 with 285/7017's without having to do the cab mount chop!

Pretty bold to scalp in this thread.

Mount them up or :censored: off unless you're gonna sell them at cost.

This was right when discount tire installed them and I hadn't popped the caps on yet.

I think they look great without the cap. One of the reasons I like my GEN 5's so much

Those look great, they don't poke nearly as much as I thought they would

My -10's rubbed pretty bad with 265/70R17. No lift. They had to trim the bumper and adjust the caster. I assume it's only worse with the higher offset.

I just got some stealth 6 rims (17x8.5 -10mm) for my pro! With a 1/2 top plate and 1.5 AAL does anyone know if 285/70/17s will rub?? I’ve seen guys run 285/65s on stock pros with minimal rubbing, but not sure if the -10mm offspacing will change things.

    Also open to tire suggestions:)

Thanks for the quick response! Does the CMC have any adverse side effects?

    Would 275s rub?

I want to say you'll be safe but 285s do look better IMO. Supposedly CMC weakens the cab blah blah blah. People get them relocated when the run bigger tires.

No CMC on my taco…My F5s do rub a lil bit when I reverse at full lock left or right if u have a good experienced Alignment shop they can adjust the Caster with SPC UCA on 285/70/17
