Yeah these cv axles are a different design so I'm probably good for awhile.

I'd want my sliders on just for the sake of being armored; I'm surprised I didn't hit the sides last time I was at Hollister Hills.

Dropped off a rock I crawled over and it was high enough to hit my rear bumper...could've been my sides if I didn't take it correctly.

    How's your truck coming along?

    Doesn’t idle the smoothest

Axle seals burped fluid one time, but planned on doing the wheel bearings on all 4 corners next summer anyway

Needa spray the frame off and shoot FF at it

Needs a new windshield at some point

    Wheel bearings, ouch.

I hear so many horror stories about botched up jobs or just people not knowing how to do them in general.

    Stock again- rip slug

im working today but lighter patient load, so i can be active lol

I wanted to get out more than anything this weekend, even resealed the camper in anticipation. However, i have to be an adult and smart with my funds. Still working to clear my debt for application cycle again next year. That and little treats for the slug here and there. hows ur new place been and all that aside from the welding? I see that has been going great!

Having watched him work, reminds me of how I am about other things like reloading.

I want to apply that attention to detail for when I'm doing welding projects so who better to ask.

He made and welded the sliders I had on the Taco -

Yeah I remember reading a quote where you're paying 1.2k per app? That's fucking nuts man.

Good to hear about the camper shell, and even though it's not a "new toy", feels good to have something checked off the list. Probably helps especially if you see any rain anytime soon? Some of us got hit with surprise storms.

The house has a roof on and they're on the way to covering it all up as of last week -

    20211025_131133.jpg

And welding? Well shit I'm trying to soak up as much as possible. I want to make be able to do my own work, and at a later point, fab shit up for others.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I remember friends parents and other people I knew would make a run down to NOLA for Mardi Gras or just visit the Quarter as a winter getaway. I may have my dates confused, but that was shortly after illegal gambling was shut down in Hot Springs and people were looking for a place to go party without going to Vegas. It was roughly a 7-hour drive to NOLA as I recall. I've never been to NOLA proper. I've been around it and have relatives north of it.
