Don't need a realistic inflatable dead body flying out of the truck on 611... :D

My truck now officially has more miles on it than vehicle my parents have ever owned; I hit 140K on my way to work today while jamming to an 80s power ballad!

The previous record holder was my mom's 2004 Honda Odyssey, which my parents bought new in May 2004 and sold in May 2013 with like 132K or 133K on the clock; My truck is getting a frame courtesy of Toyota due to perforation on the right side by the catalytic converter, but other than that it is in perfect working order!

I’ve actually used that & really like it. It dries with a Matte Finidh instead of glossy and looks great. Good call!!

It also has a good amount of UV protectant in the formula. It literally smells like roses too.

My dad's 1990 Mazda B2600i LE 4x4 had over 90K on it when he bought it from the original owner in October 1998, and it had well over 100K when he traded it for a new conversion van in May 2000, but that was a used vehicle that my dad bought solely to drive for less than two years and sell.

The first vehicle my parents bought brand new that surpassed 100K miles was a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE; I forget when it hit 100K, but I remember being really excited when it did! The Pathfinder had like 113K on it when we traded it for this Tacoma (the one that just hit 140K today) in September 2009, which was low!

My dad had a 1993 Chevy S-10 Blazer before the Pathfinder, which he also bought new; The Blazer had like 50K miles on it when my dad traded it for the Pathfinder, which was pretty high for a three-year old vehicle at the time. He only put like 10,000 miles on the 1992 Dodge Dakota he owned before the Blazer, but he bought that new as well and only had it for a year; He wanted something with 4WD, which is why he traded it for the Blazer.

My dad's first brand new car was a 1983 Toyota Celica GT, which he owned for about seven years and put less than 80K miles on if I remember correctly.

It might, but it's certainly not getting the same gas mileage it got when it was brand new!

You must not drive much, only 140,000 miles in almost 12 years. My 07 rolled over to 220,000 today and it has not been driven much since 2016 when it had 180,000.

I averaged about 20,000/year for the 1st nine years. But by 2016 we just needed a bigger truck. I bought a F150 at the time, but kept the Tacoma as a 3rd vehicle. It gets driven locally, to haul off trash etc. ever since.

Unless you've modified it with big tires etc., it should be getting the same or better fuel mileage than new. Mine improved somewhat at about 50,000 and has remained steady ever since. I can honestly say mine runs every bit as good as it did new.
