I just recently installed my eibachs and 5100s and i am very pleased with the ride. it is 20 times better than my skyjacker and it gave me about 1/8 of an inch more lift.

Has anyone had any trouble with this set up and how do you feel about it?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
It only gave you an 1/8" more lift?

I like it so far, but i have some clinks and clanks when i turn and stuff. some of the noises might be from before but with the new lift it makes me really paranoid that its something i screwed up. anyone else have noises?

I absolutely love the ride on the road and the off pavement performance is awesome! No problems with noises

Just got my stuff in the mail today. Already have the 5100's on the truck at 1.75 with the TSB. Can't really tell much. Going to have the Eibachs, spacer, 1.5 AAL and rear 5100's put in. Also have the carriage bearing drop kit, and shims already. Has anyone had any trouble getting the alignment back in check with this setup?

i don't have a shot of the inner boot but it's not to bad. I did notice that it's pushing out a little grease from the angle of the boot. You cant really see in the pic but my lower boot has no fins touching when the truck is parked but you can see where they have a line from when I'm driving.

I'm glad you started this thread, I've got 5100's on all corners, I'm on stock coils w/5100's set at top. I'm under the impression from info I've gathered that changing out the stock coils for the longer Eibachs will give a 3" lift in front with the 5100's set back to zero, & the consensus seems to lean towards the Eibach as a better match than the same setup using the Old Emu's, anyone care to elaborate ?? Thnx:cool:

Yeah buddy I got 3 1/2" set at 0 when I installed mine I'm thinking my stock setup was sagging that's way I got so much lift.

I say go for Doug you will love the ride.

Iv got 5100's on Eibach coils and the ToyTec 2" AAL with Rough Country 2-3" lift rear shocks. The ride is awsome on and off road. Alil more rough on the road, but feels like how how truck should ride. It doesnt feel like its about to tip over anymore. Its not unbarable rough, you can just tell theres a lift on it. But offroad I can just smoothly ride over bumps and holes and the suspension has some pretty good flex! I tested that out in some steep ditches and the tires never left the ground like they did before. My CV angles were bad untill I got my diff drop kit, now its alot better. Overall this setup is AWSOME! :D:cool:

Yep. I got over 3" also and my conclusion was because my stock suspension had 145k on it. So it was sagging bad.
