I took the entire grille out after purchasing 4 ijdmyoy leds, measured, measured some more, measured even more, then I just decided to make a template out of cardboard that matched the void in the top of the grille (there wasn't any room for error and once you poke holes in that part of the grille your SOL if you mess up). I drilled a small pilot hole for each light then carefully reamed out the rest with a step bit. After that it was just a matter of dressing the wires and making the connections (I wanted to run them from my fog lights, but that didnt work so I just did an add a fuse off the passenger side headlight).

This is still my favorite grille. Just didn't want to drop any money or mess with the TSS.

I like the SR grill. Added some raptor lights as well.

I saw it.... I'm just gonna stick with what toyota gave me for now. I honestly hate spending money on aesthetics, I have more pressing things to pay for. Travel hockey ain't cheap, neither is fuel.

Already dropped loot on the header bed rail and some extra cleats last month.. should be a standard feature, but I needed cheap solution to keeping my kids gear dry and a header rail was needed for me to attach a canvas tarp to

Yeah mine too, thought about getting that but I am kinda done spending money this year, between throwing money at my old truck trying to keep it alive, a new sewer line for the house and buying a new truck, plus few things for it, the stock SR grill is just fine…

The Pro grill is kinda over done, though kinda hard to be unique with such a popular truck…if I really wanted to be different could of built a vintage whatever from the ground up to stand out, really tired of projects, want to get in and drive.

My real passion is dirt bikes, rather throw my money at that. Just need a reliable hauler.

It reminds me a little of the earlier 1st Gen grills with the horizontal bars, breaks it up a little so it doesn’t look as massive like the mesh ones look.

Not sure if I’ll add lights or not, may do a hidden light bar so they are actually useful or a CBI bumper with a light bar…though told myself I wouldn’t put a winch bumper on this truck. Old truck had an ARB and driving lights couldn’t really see the grill anyways…

Nice, yeah I'm not sure how much their prices have changed each year. My new one is a '22. Yours is 4x4 right? My 2018 was less, I think around $32.5k plus TTL but it has some add-ons like convenience package, full tint, bed mat, all weather mats and more. I think buying any new Tacoma in today's crazy market right at msrp is about as good as it gets. I sold my '18 for an inflated price of $35k so the swap worked out very good for me!

I bet the private party KBB on yours is about $38k+ right now. Crazy. You could get a new '22 for an even swap, just the hassle of it all.

You put a 3m clear vinyl on your fender flares to prevent paint damage?

Here's my old '18 that just sold. My new '22 is bone stock so not worth posting yet. I thought about lifting the '22 and going up in tire size but the old one looked great and didn't sacrifice the ride quality or gearing and the mpg barely budged so probably just going for the same 265/70r17 Wildpeak in SL load rating again. I might go a bit lighter on the front tint than before. Got the same Plasticolor mud flaps to install. I'd like some plug and play led fog lights and led low and high beams. The new truck doesn't have the black vinyl B pillar decal between the front and rear windows which I liked. Not sure why they stopped that. I'll take it though. The '22 is a lot quieter, has a much nicer head unit, has auto low beams and the biggest improvement........shifts like a dream.
