I like what you did with the (sliders) I had the fat ugly ones and took them off as they made it difficult to get in and out of the truck.
With your little steps cut off is the rest of it kinda close to the truck?

Well, you obviously can't see it here but I got my 4.88 gearing installed, then flashed the appropriate KDMax file to account for them. Am trying to be very gentle during this first 100 miles, then finish the 500 mile break in before going on a trip in early December. Too soon to really notice a difference because according to the procedure they gave me, I shouldn't go above 50ish until after 100 mi. But I think with the tune and the gears (already saw how beneficial the tune was on stock gears) it will drive much better, especially after going up to the 285/70/17's.

Is the SS3 tacoma kit plug-and-play with the TRD Pro Rigid fogs? Or just the non-Rigid OEM fog lights? I know you had to replace the surrounds, but are the plugs compatible?

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I just like the product. The RMAS system served my purpose and I am still able to do some mild off road stuff.

In a span of 4 months having this truck, been having fun so far...

Had a Retrax Pro XR (will post for sale, along with other parts, once able) removed for an v3 RLD canopy purchased from a member here. Traveled 300+ miles to Oakhurst, CA near Yosemite to purchase the canopy from a member here on TW. Camped in mountains first nights, was well worth the travel (thanks again Summit for the boondocking recommendations). Shortly after installed the Prinsu cab rack, used a lot of silicone around the mounting holes, no leaks so far during this week's rain & car wash. Planning to mount & wire a 100w rigid solar panel onto the cab rack & building a DIY extrusion platform rack for the RLD.

Upgraded suspension, wheels, & tires this week. Bilstein 6112/5160's, 5/6 clip configuration, OME Dakar leaf packs, u bolts, measured 3", waiting for things to settle with constant load of tools & camping gear, Method 701s wrapped in 285/70/17 BFG Ko2s. SPC UCAs.

Installed the TRD grille 2 nights ago.

Wallet's a hurtin'! Well worth it.

Hey guys, I had some illness issues earlier this year and am about 8 months behind in the thread. Did Rivetnut Bob ever rejoin the group?
