I had them done at a local shop....... $300 to blast/sand and then PC them. I had them on my '07 for 2 years and they are now on my '10 and they have held up very, very well.

I do them all the time!

A lot of people either really like their stock wheels and just want a different look, or just can't afford new wheels.
I think coating your factory set is a great alternative to a whole new set.

    Those look really good.
I just did a hard coat black anodize to my atv rims and was thinking of doing it to my Taco but powder coat is definitely an option. Did you have both sides coated? Did you take the wheels there or did they do everything for you including mounting? Tough when you use it every day...
I would upload a picture for you but this website is horribly slow.

Problem with anodizing is you have to polish the aluminum before you coat it. Nice part is that the entire rim gets dipped.
Since they were just for the atv, I left the rough sand blasted finish so it came out a matte finish. The anodizing doesn't build up, it only changes color. However the hard coat is a 80 Rc (really hard) which does not scratch.
Powder coating they double the cost if you want both sides painted.

I don't charge extra, I coat the whole wheel.. Even where the tire goes!

Hey squad! Those wheels look sick. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to mine but I have a noticeable blistering problem. Do you know if sandblasting will help with this? Also, what color did you have them coated? The pics look like gunmetal in one and black in another. Are they matte finish? Lastly, what tires do you have on in this pic? Thanks in advance!
