somthing like this happen to me also. got used uca and wasnt the right one was for a 4runner. bad part was it was at a shop that and everything was off already. my friend came through with a set of tc uca he didnt install yet, but learned the hard way and had to buy retail to give back to him. luckily resold it and got my money back.

 

People suck sometimes.
Jba has lifetime warranty on the structure so I’m hopping they help me out.

Can only imagine what’s wrong with a 1st gen super charger… probably a reason it’s for sale. Sounds like a bag of problems to me. $$$.

But, you are 100% correct.

I always say unless the SC comes with a recent rebuild invoice from a reputable shop assume it needs a complete rebuild or more.
I learned this lesson the hard way.
But, I’ve put 12,000 miles on my used supercharger and it’s been good but initially it was a shitty experience.

Did you tell the guy that they are bent? Even if he didn't know, he should at least work with you on refunding some $ or something. I got partially burnt like that a few months back. Guy way selling some 5100s and some 5160s. I met him and took a quick look. Didn't realize that one of the 5160s was collapsed. Went to put them on a week later and realized it. Messaged him and he told me that it was my fault for not checking them out better and he would have refunded me the next day but being that it had been a week it was my fault and my problem. Good thing we met in public or I would have returned it though his window. Anyways on a side note I just got some "mevotech" ucas that are really just spc for way cheaper through rockauto.. fyi

I guess I didn’t read that right when I saw “Nevada” I just assumed Vegas do my fault but yeah if you’re around than there’s a cars & coffee car show every Saturday morning we could check out?
