Thanks! Website looks legit, no real concerns (which is why I bought it) just waiting to see if it comes scratched up or anything.

Any recommendations for a shop that can cut/mill a VP9 (Non Optic Ready) slide for an RMR?

Had a nice, looooong range day on Saturday. With all of the optics rearranging I've done I needed to do a lot of zeroing. The RDB ran like a dream. I did a little tweaking on the gas system like the manual recommends, but at the end of the day I think it was right back where it started. The adjustable gas block will be nice when I put a can on it. The 20" AR with A5 buffer system ran like a dream, and the A5 system in the 10.5" pistol kept it super tame. I also brought my 1943 Mosin for my buddy to try. He'd never had the pleasure. He was done after three rounds. lol.

Random question. How much 9mm ammo do you think the bed of a 3G Taco could safely carry? I might have to transport a pallet of it this weekend

    Not sure.

But these days that pallet might be worth more than the truck

    Google-Fu says roughly 1.6 lbs for a 50 round box of 115 gr 9mm.

    https://www.glockforum.net/threads/50-round-box-of-ammo-weighs.4312/

Wesley Chapel Toyota says your payload is 1,395 lbs.

    https://www.wesleychapeltoyota.com/2021-toyota-tacoma-towing/

So roughly 872 boxes of 50 rounds which is 43,600 rounds or 43.6 cases not including case packaging or the actual pallet.

Not worth more than your truck in current market but probably worth more than mine.

Edit: Not an actual engineer but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once, although I can't recall when. Not responsible for you breaking your truck. My fee is one 50 round box.

I ended up figuring about the same conclusion probably not going to be able to take the Taco as cool as that picture would've been. Need more capacity.

Was thinking a 79 Chevy van with Mini-14s but that would do too.

How much does this pallet weigh?

I ordered 4 boxes of 9mm projectiles and the Fedex guy looked like he wanted to kill me carrying that weight to the front door. I laughed internally.

Doing the math, it was only 37 lbs! (in a fairly small box)

    (115gr x 1000) + (147gr x 1000) / 7000 = 37.43 lbs.
