    You're not going to drill out a broken extractor, it's harder than the drill bit. If you can grab the top part of the extractor with vise grips and work it back through the hole, then drill and re-tap right through the "fused" bolt back to the OE size, you will be ok.

    After replacing my suspension last year, I left the OEM coils built. Was just curious, should I have them taken apart or is it ok to leave them built till I either need them or sell them?

    Anyone have a cnc machine that might be able to make me a part or 2? I’ve been thinking (again) of replacing the Ironman coils with king or Fox/Eibach springs. It won’t work as a direct replacement since the IM spring seat is meant for rounded springs and the others are flat. I’ve not found any 3.0 ID springs that are not flat. The IM springs are 826 lb rate, I was looking at 600 or 650 since I only have sliders.

    Finished the rock sliders install yesterday, installed my overhead hex rack from MESO, and pulled the grille for painting (thanks for the earlier tips, @RobP62 ). I have about 4 or 5 coats of bed liner spray on there, and I'm wondering how many more I have to add in order to get rid of the imperfectioms from the chrome. I don't have anywhere to go today, so I suppose I'll keep coating it in the garage every hour and a half or so. Pic related

    Just barely but it’s only when going over medium to large bumps/pot holes and such. Normal going down the road is fine. The ride is still better than stock, and I think the lower springs would get it perfect. Everything else about it feels great.
    I have E rated tires and know that plays a part in it too. I keep them around 31psi.
    IM offers 826 and 726 lbs spring rates. I’ve lowered my lift some and that did help too but I don’t really want to go lower. Here is what they have: (I have the B on on mine).

    Front coils:
    TOY065A - Performance Load
    Free Height: 390 mm
    Spring Rate: 720 lb/in
    TOY065B - Performance Load
    Free Height: 382 mm
    Spring Rate: 827 lb/in
    TOY065C - Constant Load
    Free Height: 380 mm
    Spring Rate: 827 mm

    I'm at about 14 coats right now. I don't know how many more thin coats it can stand before the paint can stand alone in lieu of the grille haha
