1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I got the rear shock guards fixed I think. I took them to a welding shop and they cut them down to avoid possibly rubing the sway bar link. I just need to put them on. I don't plan to get into as many rocks in November.

The rear lower control arm skids are working out ok.

Do you know the protective ring around the rear diff drain plug? I'm beating that up on rocks. I almost need a diff protective skid. Though I would hang up on it.

Maybe is it getting to be time for some 35s?

Bolt/weld some 1/4" plates with a slight bend in the front so they don't catch anything

 

I'd go with 1/4" aluminum plate. Lighter that way, easier to cut and bend. Less unsprung weight overall.

Aluminum is a bitch to cut if you don't have a specific blade for it...and you bend aluminum? Sounds more like cracking to me
