We’re hoping to get back onto this within the next few weeks. Unfortunately the cost of everything recently has gone up so we want to make sure it’s still a viable product to produce and sell. Once we determine that we will look back into some testing on our revised design. We will keep this thread updated!

 

Basically we just want to make sure we can manufacture and sell these at a competitive price. The cost for the raw material has hit us hard the past year so just double checking the numbers.

 

I know. The cost of everything has gone way up. All of us in CA are reminded of this every time we buy gasoline. Let’s get these done.

 

Yeah guzzoline is getting pretty damn expensive on the best coast.

Here in OR just in the last couple months it's gone from ~$55 to fill up to ~$75 but somehow inflation is "transitory" and "5.4%" -- yeah, ok.

@Apogee Offroad here's hoping you can get the bumper released before hyperinflation kicks in! If you need a guinea pig for that HC give a shout, I'll happily hack my truck up to try it out

Fortunately inflation is pretty easy to fix by raising interest rates. So if they determine it’s not transitory then they’ll hike interest rates. The issue right now is supply chain back ups and high demand. That’s actually not all that bad in terms of economic health, since that supply-demand relationship is at the core of a “free market” economy. If demand drops and prices stay up, that’s when we have a problem.

Interest rates have nothing to do with the inflation crisis we are at. It's that fact that the M1 money supply has more than tripled (not including the addition of M2 supply to the M1).

We got ocean 11'd over the last year by our government and congress. Inflation is here to stay.

No,

For now we're working on pricing for a standard bumper/swing outs, and no accessories other than a tire carrier.

We most likely will look into other accessories/camera relocation after testing goes well.
