Turn your wheels almost to full lock and check the clearance at the mud flap (assuming you have them). I’m guessing your tires are rubbing there, and if you get your alignment done to the OME specs, you should be fine.

Yeah I took the oem flaps off when I went up a tire size. I tried turning my wheel full lock and it doesn't touch. No weird noises until I installed the ome uca's.

Hopefully the alignment fixes the noise issue, again just make sure you’re having them meet the new specs. Does the noise happen during really low speed turns? If not then it probably still is a tire rubbing issue. There may be enough clearance when you’re not moving, but the body roll during a turn will compress the spring and your tire will move rearward a bit. If you have larger tires then it’s pretty likely you’re rubbing like @Jose_Dirte said.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Yeah it was just weird the first day it didnt make any noises but it was also raining so I might not have noticed. It does make noises when I turn slowly and or reverse park while turning the wheel. So maybe it is touching something. Hopefully the alignment does fix the issue.

Check to see if your rubbing. When your wheel is turned is when you are going to rub. The OME UCAs bring the wheel back toward the cab.
If you turn the wheel to the left your left tire will rub if you turn right your right tire will.
What does the noise sound like?

Did you guys apply any lubrications to the bushings. The noise seems to be coming from that when turning and what not. I got a alignment today but the shop put the specs back to stock. It drove better before the alignment. They put my caster back to 1.9. Before it was close to 3. My steering wheel is also crooked to the left to go straight. This has all became am headache lol

You don't want it aligned to Toyota's spec.
OME provided alignment numbers to use in the instructions.
Here is how I do mine while running 285/75's, but I did a cmc and hammered the pinch seam and adjusted caster to avoid rubbingCamScanner 07-13-2021 20.10.jpg .

You shouldn’t need any lubrication on the bushings, just grease in the ball joints. Here’s my alignment specs, you definitely need that 3 to 3.5 degrees of caster to get your tires forward in the wheel well. I guess it’s between you and the shop, but I would be going back and making sure they get it corrected since they didn’t do what you asked them to do.

Nope, I’ve had my lift on for about 6 months - no noticeable noises from any suspension components.

That is weird. I live in a colder climate also so idk if that has to do with it. When torquing the uca bolts does the vehicle have to be on the ground or it doesnt matter

I believe it is "supposed" to be on the vehicles weight. When I did mine, I did that on the first side and it was a royal PITA because my torque wrench would only make one click at a time. Turning the wheel to get more clearance resulted in my being able to get 2 or 3 clicks with each turn. For the second side, I just torqued it when the wheel was still off. I suppose I could have put a jack stand under the LCA to get it back on it's own weight, but that would have been a pain also. I've seen no issues with mine the way it was done.

I live near Cleveland, OH, so we’re probably in about the same climate. I don’t think I had the suspension loaded when I torqued the UCA bolts, given the angle I don’t think it would make much difference. I definitely had my truck on the ground when I torqued the u-bolts on the rear. I drew a line on the bolts and nuts so I can easily check to see if they’ve moved at all. So far they’re right where I left them.

I was told by the shop that did my install that the bushings were popping and that ARB acknowledged sending out the wrong size with some kits.

It might be worth checking with ARB whether your kit is affected by the issue.

Did they install washers on the inside of each joint? I can’t tell from your pic. I don’t have washers on the inside. I called arb and they said they follow factory procedures and that they should use the same amount of washers.
