Got a drive line vibration. Took off the drop that came w the Ironman lift. Will grease everything Wed. Hopefully that'll square everything away.

Not yet, I have to take it back to the body shop for some touch up work I pointed out. They scratched the brand new bumper cover after painting it which I wasn’t happy about, and there is still a gap between my headlight trim and bumper cover that he’s going to work on closing up for me. Once she’s back perfect (or at least to my satisfaction), I’ll clean her up nice!

You know these types of things aren’t really a big deal. The problem I have is when they do this and then hope you don’t see it. Not saying that that is your case.

But I took my wife’s car way over to South Austin for repair when it was in an accident because of the reputation of the body shop. When I went to pick it up my wife could see the bad panel fitting from the passenger side of our rental 20 yards away.

So it really doesn’t have anything to do with will people make mistakes. But it has everything to do with will they actually let me drive this home knowing that the work is second rate. Your left to wonder how many people actually go on with their lives with substandard repairs unnoticed.

If you count the day I had to leave my car and come back it was three times. And they still left the wiring harness unfastened under the hood and the grommet that keeps the windshield washer fluid from spilling out off completely.

We were afraid to take it back anymore. My wife swears that there was a scratch on the rear bumper that was not there before it’s trip back to the shop.

You talking about feeling like your being processed. And the thing is they’re so used to defending themselves they’re good at it and make it out like you’re the asshole for wanting the job done right.

Aaaaaaaaaa, forgive the rant your post triggered a repressed frustration that I have been harboring.

Thanks for the free therapy lol

33’s are on. Bilstein 5100 with stock springs set at 1.75, no rubbing with regular driving. Only a tiny bit of trimming and lower profile mud flaps

So you bought the “set” (front and rears) just for the rears OR you bought just the rears?

Poured some water out of my taillight. Then decided to just install the replacement instead of putting fresh tape over the hole.

I've been running packing tape on the hole for 3 years now, just peeling the tires tape and replacing it with fresh tape every few months.

Installed a fuel pump kill switch that is not located in the cab. Prior to this I was pulling the fuel pump relay, but that was somewhat of a pain and not very stealthy. Now I can flip the switch without gaining attention.

    Pictures for attention.

Truck was running a bit rough and shifting hard. Disconnected the battery, pulled the MAF and cleaned it. Reinstalled and the truck runs like new.

    The throttle body is next.

Installed the Amazon knock off 3rd gen pro skid. Fits good especially for $200. 1/4” aluminum is more then enough protection for my off-roading.

Actually pretty well, pretty much everything lined up perfectly. I had seen a few other posts in this thread that guys rolled the dice on them and they fit pretty well. So I followed them. The only place that didnt were the seat belt buckles on the front seats but the hole for it was in front of a cut away for the pivot point of the seat and the buckle sat perfectly in that cut away so it all worked out.
