Last weekend I passed on a young 10, he’s my 2023 prospect, hope I can keep him around till then. I’ll be out tomorrow AM then I am daddy daycare the rest of the day…kids might be getting a lesson on field dressing

First day of work is over. And home now. Everything went well. Super simple job. Also to note I didn't get the position I applied for not driving the straight truck. They gave me a different position pay is a little less then what was offered. But imma stick with it.

 

Other cities and states have done the same thing, some of them many years ago. A number of those 'your license plate light is out' stops have ended in a shooting and the consensus seems to be that they aren't worth the risk, either for the officers or the citizens being pulled over.

We spent a good bit of the last 2 days cleaning up after the storm that came through Friday. The roads up here are littered with debris. Lots of dead ash trees + high winds = one big mess. I'm headed back out now to do the normal leaf hoovering, hopefully stuff has dried out enough that I don't clog the machine.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Fun trip to Pittsburgh to meet up with my sister, brother-in-law and two friends. Lots of laughs, good food, good beer and a little bourbon, too.

We spent Friday evening at a friends brew pub - the beer and food were excellent. Try it out if you are out that way - Mastic Trail Brewing in Glenshaw.

Off to walk the dog. I have to wait for daylight. Come Sunday, we will have an extra hour of daylight in the morning. Maybe I can get to walking her again around 7:00 right after I put my grandson on the bus.

 

I wish they would stop the DLST, leave the clocks alone! I don’t care which one they decide on DLST or EST… just pick one and go with it!!

 

Lol dealer wanted almost 600 to service diffs. I was like nah I can do that for like $100.

 

SMH. I'm thinking they need to make money from service cause there is nothing to sell ?

 

So my new job is about 200ft away from my older sisters house. Super scary this morning I was loading my van up this morning and looked across the street my sister next door neighbor house was completely engulfed in flames. I took off running across the street seen my sister crying carrying my baby niece. She was freaking out all three dogs were still in the house. My sister has oxygen tanks in the house for the baby. Just complete chaos. My sister and the baby are fine. The neighbors house is no more. They lost a puppy in the fire. Just sad to see.
