    Update, if anybody's curious.

Just got sent an invoice for a TRD Sport from a local dealer. MSRP $40,250.

    Their quote? $45,500 BEFORE TTL.

I ordered a 2022 OR DCLB five weeks ago, I have it in writing from the dealer that the MSRP is the sale price, plus a $299 "administrative fee".

What dealer did you go to? Only dealers in the Philadelphia area charging over MSRP are the extra scummy places most people already knew to avoid.

I know it sounds onerous, but flying to a city, ubering to the dealer, and driving back is very likely to cost you less than the $5k markup.

One thing to note, check your local DMV to figure out how titling is going to work and what that is going to cost. In VA, I had to pay roughly $2400 because OH doesn't charge sales tax. I saved by not paying sales tax initially, but in the end, I had to pay it just by a different name.

To clarify, I bought mine out of state because my local dealers all told me they couldn't get what I was looking for.

    Like, so many.
Are you willing to look in other areas? Or consider a different truck? That markup is bonkers.

I got some of the stuff and a road map for the rest...
Springfield Conicelli got me for $3000 over MSRP. But, they had exactly what I wanted and I needed it now.
