Cool. But that truck definitely doesn’t have the LED LG package as you mentioned.

Gotcha, I was reading off of the info from the vin and window sticker so probably a misunderstanding on my part when mentioning that.

No worries it’s confusing cause you do have running light LEDs just not the headlight and fog light versions.

OP/ I will let you know after this weekend. Stealership man told me the exact truck that I was looking for--- 2022 TRD Pro-- Black/ manual transmission /no add-ons will be here December 2021. and yeah, I made him repeat the year. 2022....

I do not believe a word he says. .. He also told me OVER the phone he would give me 27K for my 2015 Sport-DcSB 4x4 6 speed manual... which has 85K miles on it. "If I wanted to trade it in".... and it is PIZZA day on Saturday, so come get a slice. hahahha... I feel bad for them but then again, they seem to be still making a living doing what they do. I bought my last truck off this dealership... I got it for $500 over dealer invoice back in 2015... I can not believe how these trucks jumped 13-15K in 6 years (2015 to 2021). Kinda turns me off....

Sweet! Welcome to the '22 Green TRD Off Road crew... you can tell the year by the color of the bedside stickers. There was a whole thing about that in "The Army Green Thread".

Now I don't have to wonder how the TRD wheels would look on mine! Is yours lifted?

You had me fooled! It must be the wheels and tires playing tricks on me. Hope you're enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying mine!

When was the build day on your TACO? Reason I ask, mine was built 10/20/21. Today the dealer told me mine was on a ship from Mexico and is expected to arrive in port 10/06/21. Trying to guess how long it will take to arrive at my dealer. BTW, your truck looks awesome!!!

SW SR5 arrived today. Picking up Thursday at Noon. Can’t decide on TRD lift - dealer said it would be $2400 OTD but don’t have wheels/tires in budget till the New Year, and reading the thread on it, I’m still not convinced.

Will spend part of Thursday doing chrome delete, blackout badging, tailgate inserts, a couple black vinyl decals, and add easy/quick center console and glovebox organizers. Maybe hood struts soon? Maybe window tint? Have PRP seat covers (black and grey with red stitching to match black/cement interior and red chrome-delete), window vents, and Rough Country hard tonneau coming. Waiting to see what Carven comes out with for exhaust and will add an intake then. Will mess with lights and bumpers next Spring.

Any other quick/budget-friendly addition suggestions from the Forum are appreciated.

Short version, ordered on Oct 1 Picked it up today Nov 2nd

Long winded... Asked for a specific TRD Sport DC LB in Metalic Gray on about Oct 1

Was told I could have a shot at a White Off Road and agreed to take it but it was sold already by the time I called back to my sales guy.

Decided to go with an Off Road instead of a Sport and on Oct 5 and I was given the option for a white one. I committed to the white one with a request that if a gray one came along I would like to trade color. Oct 7th a Gray one was available so went with the TRD DCLB Off Road Metalic Gray with Tech package and LED headlights. Price was MSRP

Oct 30th after a few updates in the month about build and shipping I got the call it had arrived. Picked it up today Nov 2nd

I am currently driving a 2014 TRD Sport DC LB in Metalic Gray and I sort of expected the new generation to be something that would be familiar and not a big deal. Now that I drove it, wow it is a big deal, I am rapturously delighted!

My temp VIN stopped working last Friday. This past Monday my salesman said it was “In Transit” and today he said it could be here any day. I decided today to go with the TRD lift so they ordered that for me. The plan is to get that and install when the truck arrives so I can get it with the factory warranty. I know there are mixed feelings on that lift but it’s what I have decided so I’m still excited. 2022 AG automatic will be soon. Originally was supposed to be delivered on 10/29 but the salesman thinks it will be sooner.

That seems really fast to deliver. My temp also just went away on Sunday. But I was told roughly 3 weeks after build. I haven't checked w/ my sales person. I hope yours comes in quick!

I also thought it was fast. I could be waiting a while I don’t know. Salesman said in years past he could offer a pretty accurate estimate of arrival but now they have no idea and some days a truck comes and others days nothing. He also said a few days this week there have been more delivery trucks on the lot than new cars on the lot for sale not counting the cars on the trucks. I’m excited but understand my wait isn’t over. This is my long work week so I couldn’t get it until next week regardless.

    That was your built d
Looks like the build day was 9/20-9/21 if it states that on the factory sticker. My dealer gave me the build day of 10/20 on mine and my temporary VIN disappeared the evening of 10/19. That occurs when it goes into production and then the vehicle is assigned a permanent VIN. Thanks for replying.

this timeline makes me feel a lot better about my 6MT TRDOR. I’ve been telling myself Feb or March of 2022.

I’m still thinking January or February on mine. I am getting the predator package with the 6MT TRDDCSP and afraid mine might take a while. I changed my color from Lunar Rock to White hoping to speed it up. Happy for guys but hate seeing them put deposit down the end of September and getting trucks now. Put my deposit in back in July, still no truck.
