Right on. TONS of concrete work back then for the sites, I’m certain you had plenty of work. The silos near Cavalier were flights controlled by Grand Forks AFB- Sylvania-engineered sites vs the Boeing-engineered sites we have around Minot. Grand Forks’ 150 missiles were deactivated by 1994 while Minot’s 150 missiles remain active.

Did you happen to work on the Spartan/Safeguard facility in Nekoma too? It’s about 45 miles from Cavalier.

A common site in residential areas in Alberta...extension cords, including places of employment. At my work they use pulsating voltage...to save on electricity. I park my vehicle on side of the road, sometimes when it snows hard the vehicle is non recognizable due to the amount of snow...then you hope it will starto_O

Got it delivered late last night! Will be using this '20 MGM TRD OR AT until my '22 Lunar Rock TRD OR MT is ready in Dec/Jan.

I did post the full story of how I ended up with two Tacomas in the welcome section. Happy to be here finally

PFL Customs roof rack, Body Armor Hi-line bumper. X20 Gen 2 Smittybilt winch, PFL Customs bed rack. Dirt bound rack supports.
Putting the cnc to work this week to make a short shell. front half will be water tight enclosed storage and back half will be 2 dog kennels with molle panels. On top will be the rtt that will be below the level on the roof rack to save a little in gas. Going to be a fun project we will see how it turns out.

Thank you! I ordered it from McAutoParts. It looks like they are having website issues right now. It was roughly $196 including the lights and TSS sensor. All plug n play.

Aha, we were fortunate never to have had an orbiter shot down thanks to skilled door gunners like yourself.

Interestingly enough, space shuttle and space launch was combined into our career field in the mid-nineties after Strategic Air Command was dissolved and the three remaining Missile Wings were handed over to AF Space Command. While I had nothing to do with those programs, the initial phase of technical training for space programs and LGM-30G Minuteman III ICBM was shared. After initial training, troops would be sent down the space program path, the ICBM path, or the SRAM/ALCM (Short Range Attack Missile/Air Launched Cruise Missile) path. Each training path was called a ‘shred’.
