    Only 1 problem with those.

    They die each winter in the MidWest.

    Well, I have been proven wrong again! We are balls deep (4 pages and counting) discussing ice scrapers. :)

    LOL. Years ago my company had a meeting in Boston in the middle of February. There was an ice storm overnight and one of the people from the South threw hot water on the windshield of his rental car. There were about a dozen large cracks in the windshield and the rental car company had to tow it away because it was undriveable.

    Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    If there's some debate as to who does the vacuuming, you could always point out that she's closer to the floor than you are.

    My wife is 5' tall and I'm 6'. We had an argument a number of years ago and as I was walking away she wacked me on the back with an aluminum handled broom. I turned around and said "You can't hurt me with that!" Next think I remember is waking up on the couch.

    She may be small but she's pretty tough anyway at almost 68 I wouldn't want her falling off a ladder and getting hurt.

    The funny thing is, there was a “best windshield wiper fluid” thread within a couple days. I’m sure it’s still on the first page.

    @CusterFan

    That may work ok on a light frost.

    Although, I'm skeptical about its effectiveness on a 1/4" thick ice film after an ice storm crawls through the area.

    Best de-icer I have found is a remote start and a cheap brush. Remote start the truck and let if run for 10 mins before you head out to get everything off. By then the interior should be well warmed up and ice on the glass will practically fall off at a touch. Pro tip - remember to turn the temp up, fan on high, and have it blow on the dash when you get out the truck for best results.

    The N2Designs remote start was quite easy to install and has worked seamlessly.

    I have about 4 left, handheld, maybe 10” long overall, plastic scrapers with a 3.5” wide ‘brass’ blade, that my Father had sold for $2 each when he had his locksmith shop.

    They are the best! I will never get rid of them!

    I leave it sit after a ice storm goes through. Then after the sun starts shining on the truck I'll go out with the deicer and clean the ice off the windows. I'm not a important person so I can let my truck sit. But yeah the deicer don't work worth a shit on ice when the sun is not out.

    I just used a jigger hosed and drained the blue water that the service dept. put in my truck last May. Did that yesterday and put a fresh gallon of Prestone Deicer washer fluid in the reservoir. Need another gallon to top it off. These Tacoma's have a big reservoir on them. May just put the extra gallon in the closet in case I need it over the winter seeing how the service dept. will put blue water in it again in May.
