Rough Country 20” Dual Row Cree Light and Cali Raised LED Dual Light bar switch help

Has anyone successfully used the Cali raised dual light bar switch to power their rough country 20” dual row crew light bar? I’ve hooked everything up, but the amber switch won’t turn on the amber DRL. I had a replacement switch sent to me, but the replacement switch is doing the exact same thing. I’ve attached pictures how I’m wiring the switch. (From the switch): Black is going to ground, Yellow going to dash light power source, Green going to light bar voltage (red), Blue going to white led line (white), Red going to amber led line (blue). If I switch the Red and Blue wires coming from the switch, the white led button will power the amber light, but the white led button wont power the white light. It seems like the amber button is bad, but I doubt I’ve received 2 faulty switches in a row… any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I think the Lamp is meant to be Amber or White, as in one is ON while the other is OFF. Providing juice to one without cutting juice to the other could be your issue.

 

Thank You @caribe makaira. I was hoping with the Cali raised dual switch it would serve the same purpose as the switch that came with the light bar (rocker switch). I’m only pressing one button at a time, but for some reason the amber button won’t turn either light on, even when the white button is off.

 

Remove the switch and test the continuity of the wires of the switch. Sometimes the legend is incorrect.

 

Yeah, I tried that and I’m getting the same results as the first switch (no continuity for the amber line). I wasn’t able to find a diagram or pin out for the switch, so I’ll probably try calling Cali Raised again and see if they have the pin outs for the switch and see if I’m making the wrong assumption on one of the wires.

 

Different color wires, but should be same configuration:

Yellow is switch illumination.

 

On the wire coming from the lamps, the white with the black stripe goes to ground. I see a blue wire attached to it

 

Thanks, I got it working. Your diagram was correct, blue and green ended up being the switches for each light. I had blue and red connecting to each lamp when red was for power.

Did you mate the switch ground to the dash illumination beige wire?

 

If you want to add some lamps to turn ON when you unlock and/or open the door and also ON anytime:

@kmorgan3 can sell you the D35 intercept...

 

This should work great, but the indicator LEDs may not function if you're using (-) as the inputs to the switch. Might actually be an added bonus as the indicator LED would be a nuisance when in AUTO all the time.

So what wiring sequence did you end up going with ? I have the same switch and light bar I'm trying to wire up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the 5 wire CR switch and a 3 wire coming my RC backlight bar .

 

I use the this setup, love the amber DRL and high beam combo. I used Caliraiseds harness and dual button combo. Here’s a pic of the connectors.
