You'll be fine on 5100s then. So many people run them - not many people are as hard on them as the dude I wheel with who has the xterra with them. You'll be fine with anything at that point, though.

His? No, he's the one who had them blow out and have us rebuild them on the trails in the middle of the North Maine Woods :D but he's also a bit (a lot) harder on his stuff than most people, let alone a pavement princess. His blew, he's going for Dobinson's now I think. I wouldn't get 5100s because I am just as hard (probably a little less) on my stuff than he is, but if you aren't wheeling it and (I think actually) jumping it, they're fine. A TON of people on these forums have 5100s and like them. They're good, comfortable, and relatively cheap. But it's like buying a nice bike from Walmart. It'll do it, and do well for a lot of people, but you won't see them on the circuits.

If you ever see my truck jumping something, something has gone horribly wrong.

Nice, maybe carrier bearing drop. I can't weld so can't do your CMC. (Are you sure you need it?)
Maybe we can get a few people and a good welder and do a CMC day. I want and a few others also. Maybe spring unless there's a shop. About out of good weather now.

I’ve got the chop plates and ECGS bushing, am just waiting for my tires to wear down a bit more before bumping up from 265 to 285. I know i wont really need the clearance around here but they sure do look nice. Surprised MA inspection doesn’t bop people for CMC
