Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I think this was posted in another thread. Here's someone installing another cat shield with the TRD (or Pro) skid plate:

You can skip ahead to around 4 min. in.

Looks like for this shield, there were just a couple of washers and spacers involved.

    Thank you!

Those are the spacers that come with the shield and are installed even without the TRD pro. When I chose those mount points, I didn't realize the TRD pro on the Tacoma had the sunken mounts.

Looking at the Miller cat shield, it looks like it will probably fit with the TRD pro plate if they are using the holes I think they are. Worse case it would need some trimming on front edges of the edges of the cat shield, or a few spacers to bring the TRD pro shield down a smidge.

P.S. I offer proprietary bit bolts as well :p

Wow, I didn't know Talon was on here! Cool! Man, you make an excellent product! Very high quality! Regarding your optional bolts though, I am glad I didn't order and use them. The thing is, the bolts that DO come with it, are "Allen Bolts" or in other words, utilize an Allen Wrench to tighten or loosen them. I like that and it was a pleasant surprise! The thing is, that if one puts on lock bolts, if there is a need to take the cover off, such as, to service the transmission, you are screwed because the bolts will have to be cut off. And I highly doubt any thief who crawls under the truck to steal the converter and sees that there is a cover on there, is going to have an allen wrench to take off the bolts. And even if he did have an allen wrench, I don't think he is going to want to take the time it would take, to unscrew all those bolts to get the cover off, just so he can then FINALLY, cut the catalytic converter off. So I thank you for including the allen bolts. Good move, and a few days after I installed the Talon's Garage cover myself, I took my truck in to my mechanic for my regular oil change. He was VERY IMPRESSED with the cover too!

I hang around! Planning on getting my vendor page rolling!

As far as the upgrade security bolts, you can remove them. They include a special bit that is proprietary and can’t be sourced from a local hardware store.

Think of them like locking lugs on wheelsz

Just installed my Talon's Garage Plate! Great Fit, went on in 10mins. On the I-4 engine, it only protects the front Cat, so I bought $20 worth of Galv steel wire and secured the 2nd cat, should help thwart theives. Its starting to be a real problem here in NYC

I don't know about that, but I can tell you too, that the one from Talon's Garage, is made of 1/4" aluminum which is by far, way thicker than most of the others, which are from 1/16" to 1/8" which is less than half as thick as the one from Talon's Garage.

I like what you did here.

I need to get a Houston guy to stop by so I can make a plate or box or this area.
