Strapped the supercharged Tacoma to the dyno.

    Made 274 WHP

Stock on OV Tune 2.0: Made 212 WHP

Suspect bad gas. Looks to be pulling timing so will need a rematch.

Keep us informed, my super charger on order and I’m curious why your numbers seem pretty far off.

Magnuson’s numbers are stated at the crank whereas this is power at the rear wheels. The difference is drivetrain loss and also the difference of dyno.

I think the main thing is consistency. Pulls done on the same dyno which looks to read low from the get go. The ECU was pulling timing due to what we think is shitty Chevron 92. We will see.

Yup. I would agree but the curve looks like the ECU was pulling timing during the runs. So we will see what it does on better gas.

What are the specs on the blurple wheels? I've been watching the SCS wheel thread with the hopes of getting a set of ray 10's in stealth indigo (purplish blue) when they drop, but that remains to be seen.:tumbleweed:

I thought Chevron was the “good stuff”. In the Bay Area, that is what Subaru tuners recommend for consistent quality. I’m curious what your best option is up there.

Hey guys Hope this finds you all well
My 2022 Tacoma is arriving tonight. I need to decide about accessories. It is a 2022 sport premium Tacoma, Lunar rock is the colour. I want a roof racks, hard shell lightweight Tonneau cover and running boards that aren’t bulky . I was told I will save plenty of money not going with Toyota accessories but to buy aftermarket. I am in Vancouver Canada, any recommendations where to shop ? Kindest regards Steve

I like the door sill protectors, they look like they offer good coverage, how the holding up so far, and where did you find them?

I'm in Van as well. I purchased my Running Boards, Tonneau Cover, block heater, cargo bed lights and locking tailgate from the dealer. Very convenient and I'm very happy with them. You are better to deal directly with the parts department for a better price tho. However, some local specialty 4X4 shops may be able to help you out and also a search online for those particular accessories you want. Lots here go with an aftermarket Prinsu Roof rack but they are expensive. IMG_0144.jpg

Right after a fill-up. Nice what the 3.5 can do with no stop signs. ~36 mi of hwy driving. Usually get around 19mpg in the city

I thought the same. Apparently Costco is the best in terms of octane accuracy.

I don't know about that. I've gotten bad gas from Costco before, from their food court too. o_O I prefer shell gas.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.

I have found that "early in the tank" fuel averages tend to be optimistic! So I always wait to confirm with the pump receipt!
